Boho being your comfort zone or not, you can't get away from tassels at the moment. It's awesome when vintage and I've always loved it, but now its here in abundance thanks to the S/S15 shows and muses like Kate Moss. You'll find it in all major high street stores. Believe me, I feel tassels should always be worn with a desert wanderer vibe, complete with a nostalgic 70s romance, but it can also be done in a redefined maybe a bit more premium way. And, that is really how we are currently seeing it as a trend - welcome 'Boho Luxe' (Not that I am particularly making a bee line for it, like I said - I like my boho true to form). Take brands like The Reformation for example. They put a boho spin on a clean silhouette, to clothes with a less second hand feel (and a less second hand price tag).
Above, I've bought a nice bit of heavy weight suede and kept it pretty simple. A fringe or tassel waistcoat like mine, make good investment pieces as you'll be frolicking and rolling around in it all year, so you'll never begrudge spending a bit of money on it. I've tried out a wide leg trouser. I have moved away from flares to give these a go, and to be fair I really like them. Of course I've made sure they still reach the floor even with a heel on, because we don't do ankle swingers where I'm from.
