I didn't jump straight to it with gladiator sandals. I wanted to wait it out until I found a pair that I really liked instead of grabbing the first ones I saw. I really feel they can be hit or miss, some styles can be too fancy dress for my liking. I don't want to actually want to feel like a biblical village person, instead I want an update. I was after a neat and simplified pair that I could wear with a unstated outfit and just feel chill in. So I came across these from Aldo, and they were spot on. Nothing over the top, good quality, nice simple silver studs here and there and an easy zip up the back. (Kurt Geiger also offer up some gorgeously simple ones). I have a soft spot for Aldo, so was quite pleased to get my only pair of gladiators I'll probably ever own from there. With the sandals being the key piece Ive kept the rest of the outfit very very simple. Loose fit denim cut offs and a clean white baggy T-shirt. Nothing too over the top to see here however I needed a bit of romance, as always, so thrown over my suede fringed waistcoat. Bed hair, sunglasses and I'm good to go.
