Wild Waiste Part 1.

Welcome to Part 1 of my posts collaborating with Waiste Vintage. Last week I spent an afternoon chatting, drinking tea and playing dress up with none other then Waiste Vintage owner and founder Sara Thomas. Her flat was a walk-in treasure chest, full up with all the bohemian things you can only see in your dreams. I loaded up a bag of my own bits to take over. From my tan suede boots to my crocodile hunter hat. Between some serious cat lovin' with Sara's furry hunk Hershey, and herbal teas - I choose four items off her 'New In' page on waiste.co.uk and styled them up into full outfits. This little 100% silk number above, really caught my eye. It's an original 1970s tunic with button up detailing along the shoulder, and down one side. There is something very decadent in its 'midnight floral' pattern, and I felt the need to build up the outfit with lots of black leather. For now, I've hidden underneath my cut off denim shorts underneath as it's not quite long enough to be dress even with my short height, but I was really wanting some nice tight leather pants. Maybe I'll save that idea for when the winter rolls its sorry self around.
