Western Witch.

What with Halloween, I'm mourning the radiance of colour. I'm not usually one for all black, as reliable and chick as it is, I often feel too serious in it. If you know me in person, I am really not that serious and like to take a laid back approach to fashion as well.  When I do wear all black however, I love it to be slick but still playful, so I'll go for the full on western, witchy look. I think it's all about a statement silhouette when wearing all black, so strong cuts are a must! Shape wise, wide legs trousers make a huge impact and bring an elegance to what could be quite a tough look.

I have a bit of a thing for Daryl Hannah's character in Kill Bill at the moment. I love her smoking hot western look. Simple monochrome, a Cuban heel, red lip and of course the eye patch. What a character, it reminds me of Saint Laurent. She has really inspired me as of late, so I wanted to nail some key western accessories to my all black look. Sadly not an eye patch, although secretly I wish I could. I hunted Depop for a concho necklace, in time I will want a lovely vintage real silver one but for now this little cutie on a suede string will do. This and my leather cowboy hat is all that's really needed.
