LA | Baby Blues.

Firstly I apologise for my hung over, tired face. I've definitely had more awake days then this. I rolled out of bed, and fell into these delightful little baby blue shorts. They are so dam cute! Made from faux suede they are a really easy summer must have - ideal for festivals, parties and holidays. They are shade of blue I am not usually partial too, but I thought would wear well out here in dreamy LA.

The lace up detailing is really what got me though, as it toughens these cuties up a bit. As with anything girly, I always look for a way of giving my outfit a harder edge. Take my trusty bandanna for example - it just brings back that rock 'n' roll feel.

My faux suede lace up shorts are Pretty Little Thing, white t-shirt is from Brandy Melville and my espadrille wedges are Park Lane via Asos. You can find similar glasses like mine, in all Rokit Stores.

LA | Glam Rock.

So I'm back in Los Angeles, with a re - packed, bigger and better suitcase. It couldn't feel any better! Just being in a climate where you can actually wear everything in your wardrobe that you love, and not have to cover up your outfit with a huge coat and scarf.

So I've been feeling aviators again recently and before heading back out here, I bought some in nearly every colour. Purple, pink, yellow and these clear ones I am wearing above. I buy them nice and cheap, so that I don't have to be too protective over them. I am one for leaving my glasses loose in my bag or wearing them out at night and getting too drunk - so the cheaper the better. Hello Ebay! I just love that easy 1970s nod, that aviators give to any outfit - especially with beachy waves and a centre parting. Got lots of inspiration from Gucci SS16.

I've always loved a bit of animal print, as it's a great way to bring in that glamour rock vibe - very T- Rex. Leopard, can be quite statement and at times very overpowering so it's nice to match it with something super neutral and plain if you want your outfit to be more wearable with no fuss.

Everything I am wearing is pretty much from Pretty Little Thing and their new summer Gypsy Festival range. It's perfect for your summer festival wardrobe and really affordable. I love my pastel bodysuit with my duck egg fringed bag against the more heated leopard maxi skirt - sugar and spice and all things nice!

You can shop everything I am wearing over on Pretty Little Thing, my sock boots are from Topshop, my jewellery various but mostly from Gypsy Silver and my glasses are from Ebay.

LA | Desert Moth.

So on this particular day, we got ourselves stuck up a canyon of some sort with barely any reception and no means of getting back down to civilisation. Being idiots abroad, we found ourselves in this situation a lot. Don't mind me above, I was just creeping around like a reptile while we figured if we should hitch a ride back down the hill, or set up camp for the night.

I'd been chasing this dress down for years. It's a relatively old Topshop one, and it was around before the days of me working there in Personal Shopping so it slipped through the net. A few of my colleages had it, and I was always envious. You know when something just grabs your attention, and you cannot get it out of your head? I am a massive sucker for cold shoulder dresses. For me, there is nothing more sensual and sexier on a girl then a bare shoulders and a backless dress. A few days before heading to LA, I found someone selling it on Depop - so fate had it, we came together in the end. It was meant to be. I love wearing it, I feel like a magical creature.
